The Seed: A Vegan Experience (June 16-17) brings two days of activities for everyone to explore and learn about the vegan lifestyle. Throughout the weekend, there will be cooking demonstrations, film screenings, and talks by vegan advocates, such as bestselling author Kathy Freston (Veganist), triathlon winner Brendan Brazier, medical doctor Joel Fuhrman (Eat to Live), and popular podcast personalities Colleen Patrick-Goudreau (Compassionate Cooks) and Jasmin Singer and Mariann Sullivan (Our Hen House). There will be delicious plant-based foods to sample from local vegan restaurants like Foodswings and Candle 79, along with other culinary vendors. You can discover lots of cruelty-free products and services from compassionate and environmentally-conscious vendors, and check out various independent artisans at the Bust Magazine Craftacular.
