Warm up this Sunday, Oct. 20 with a chili tasting and barbecue buffet at Sheffield’s Beer & Wine Garden on 3258 North Sheffield.
Now in its six year, chili-makers will submit dishes for approval from judges Sarah Grueneberg (Top Chef Texas Season 9/Spiaggia exec chef), Joe Perino (Mayne Stage) and VJ Muscia (Sheffield’s).
Admission is $25 and includes the barbecue buffet, chili tastings and two drink tickets. Or you’d like to compete, contact Sheffield’s (firstname.lastname@example.org) to enter and have your chili ready by 12 p.m. Sunday.
Hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Judging will begin during halftime of the Bears-Redskins game. Winners will be announced after the game.
