The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival returns to the Metropolitan Pavilion on March 1st and 2nd with a weekend agenda packed with vegan food, health and wellness. Every year, this event attracts not just vegans and vegetarians, but omnivores, locavores, flexitarians and more. Guests enjoy and sample lots of food from local restaurants and food producers, while discovering more about the vegan lifestyle and sustainable living.
I’ve attended every year since the beginning, and each year it’s really expanded and grown in terms of vendors and attendees. The event will go from 11am to 6pm each day. In addition to the exhibitors and vendors, there’s also a schedule of speakers, presentations, and activities.
One-day admission tickets are $30 and weekend passes are available for $50. Luckily, there’s a deal on Amazon Local offering pretty much half-off admissions. It’s $15 for one-day admission and $24 for a weekend pass. It also comes with raffle tickets – 2 with the single day ticket and 4 with the weekend pass. The event benefits the NY Coalition for Healthy School Food.
