Update: For the second year in a row, Armando “Tacho” Padilla of Tavern on Rush won the Oyster Shucking Competition Sunday at Frontier in West Town, Chicago.

Among the chefs participating in this tournament are from Frontier, Frontera Grill, Benny’s Chop House,Rosebud Steakhouse, Tavern on Rush, Riva on Navy Pier, The Publican, Quay, GT Fish & Oyster, BOKA,Aquitaine, Tempest Bar, Atwood Café, Estate Ultra Bar, Lilly’s Q, Arami Chicago and Carnival.
To attend, there is a $10 suggested donation benefiting the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
