For this Orange Blossom Morning Hot Coffee, Karen H. of Cincinnati, Ohio won an Honorable Mention in the Seattle’s Best Coffee “Red Cup Showdown” creative culinary competition. Here’s how to make one:
Ingredients (makes 3 6-oz servings)
- 2 1/4 cups Water (18 fl oz)
- 6 tbsp Seattle’s Best Coffee Level 5
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (8 fl oz)
- 1/4 Confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tsp Orange extract
- Grated rind half an orange
Directions
- Brew coffee and pour into three cups
- Whip cream, adding confectioners’ sugar and orange extract as it whips
- Spoon cream on top of hot coffee and garnish with orange rind.
