Bushwick’s Kings County Saloon is hosting a pop up restaurant featuring award-winning chef Sandy Dee Hall of Black Tree. Chef Hall has created a special a la carte menu for the pop-up, which will feature seasonally focused, hyper-local ingredients and nose-to-tail cuisine with items derived from whole-roasted duck and pig. Dinner service will be available Wednesday, November 5th through Saturday, November 8th, from 5pm to 11pm. Kings County Saloon is located at 1 Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn.

On the menu, you’ll find items like:

Beef Stew
Braised short rib with cheddar, herbs and chives

Duck Tacos
Pulled leg, smoked cherries, chive pesto and cilantro

Duck Bahn Mi
Leg, rillettes, liver mousse, spicy aioli, pickled carrots, cilantro

32-ounce Pig Porterhouse
Romanesco and micro buckwheat

And to conclude the pop-up concent, there will be a Polynesian luau-themed party on Sunday, November 9th. The luau, beginning at 2pm, will feature a family-style pig roast featuring whole roasted and de-boned pig curated by Chef Hall, as well as Totally-Tiki-Punch, Get-High-Waisted beer/shot combos and Wakiki Jello Shots. There will also be live music performances by High Waisted, Las Rosas and The Mystery Lights. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door and are available for purchase here. The pig roast will feature whole roasted suckling pig sliders with nine dipping sauces and whole pig porchettas stuffed with carrots, apples and chestnuts to be sliced and served.
