Marcus Samuelsson, chef and owner of the Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem, will talk about his life and career in the culinary world at 92YTribeca this Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $21.
Samuelsson will be interviewed by Bon Appétit and Travel + Leisure contributing editor Adam Sachs.
At 24 years of age, Samuelsson became the youngest chef to earn a three-star restaurant review from The New York Times for his work at Restaurant Aquavit.
In March 2011, Red Rooster hosted a Barack Obama-attended fundraising dinner for the Democratic National Committee that raised $1.5 million.
