The Afropunk Festival returns to Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park this weekend, Aug 25-26. Trucks will be parked on Navy Street between Park Ave and Flushing Ave, including Domo Taco, Bian Dang, Fishing Shrimp, Korilla BBQ, Rickshaw Dumpling, Mexicue, Desi Truck, Jamaican Dutchy, Snap! , Eddie’s Pizza, Valducci’s Pizza, Gorilla Grilled Cheese, Morris Grilled Cheese, Cupcake Crew, Kelvin’s Natural Slush, Green Pirate Juice, Wooly’s Ice, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and Nuchas Empanadas. The festival will also feature two pop-up restaurants, Fort Green’s own Madiba and Brooklyn Moon, and a sweet tent with treats from DOUGH, STOGO Vegan ice cream and Mrs. Dorseys Kitchen.

Event is free to the public!
