Ben and Jerry’s Free Cone Day is April 12!

Home Events Ben and Jerry’s Free Cone Day is April 12!

Tuesday, April 12th is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s! To thank their customers for their support and celebrate their 33 years of business, Ben & Jerry’s is giving away free cones!

So, locate a participating Scoop Shops and head over on Tuesday between noon and 8pm to enjoy one of their many flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet.

Or, try out one of their new flavors like:

  • Late Night Snack: Inspired by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon – Fair Trade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with a Salty Caramel Swirl & Fudge Covered Potato Chip Clusters (the fudge uses Fair Trade cocoa, too!)
  • Bonnaroo Buzz: Light Coffee & Malt ice creams with Whiskey Caramel swirls & English Toffee pieces. This flavor, inspired by the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, is back by popular demand in Scoop Shops and now available in pints!
  • Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream: Vanilla ice cream with fudge covered waffle cone pieces & a caramel swirl. A long time pint favorite, so popular we made it a scoop shop flavor for the first time this year!
  • Clusterfluff: Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Caramel Cluster Pieces, Peanut Butter & Marshmallow Swirls

And, if you have an iPhone or an Android phone, you can locate the closest Ben & Jerry free cone location, using the Ben & Jerry’s Scoop of Happiness app is available through iTunes store or Droid App Market. There’s a countdown to Free Cone Day, and you can set a reminder so that it alerts you on Free Cone Day! There’s also a set of fun frames, so you can take photos and share it with your friends.

Too bad I’m lactose intolerant. I used to be able to enjoy a small ice cream cone with help from Lactaid lactose enzyme supplement, but my sensitivity towards dairy products have gotten worse the past few months. I guess I’ll be having sorbet!
Enjoy your free cone and try one of the new flavors for me!
