The Village Pourhouse’s Mint Julep Recipe


Here’s a recipe for the Mint Julep cocktail, courtesy of The Village Pourhouse.



  • Mint Sprigs
  • 2.5oz Makers Mark Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp water


  1. In a Collins glass, dissolve the sugar in a splash of water.
  2. Fill glass with crushed ice and Makers Mark Kentucky Bourbon.
  3. Stir contents until the glass becomes frosty, adding more ice if necessary.
  4. Garnish with sprigs of mint.
