The Queens County Farm Museum in Floral Park, New York will present this Sunday, Oct. 7 at Apple Festival the baking of the country’s largest apple cobbler. Additionally, there will be a healthy offering of apples, apple products and cider.

Admission is free. The festival opens 11:00 a.m. and closes 4:00 p.m.

Owned by the New York City Department of Parks, the Queens County Farm Museum dates back to 1697 and is the only working historical farm in the city. The farmland, spanning 47 acres, has historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard and an herb garden..
