Check out this slide show recap of this past weekend’s New York City Vegetarian Food Festival at the Metropolitan Pavilion. There were so many vendors and participants, the festival spanned across two floors of the venue, with three stages for cooking demos, talks and presentations. There were lots of foods to enjoy, small samples to taste and larger portions for sale. Many food producers offered samples to take home along with exclusive festival discounts. There were also cruelty-free beauty products, vegan friendly apparel, and non-profit organizations present to bring awareness about healthy living. I volunteer and attend the festival every year, and it’s definitely grown so much. It’s always great to see returning restaurants and food producers showcasing their favorites while debuting their upcoming products, and there’s also so many new things to discover.
