Miranda Restaurant in Williamsburg will be offering a special “Antojito” (little cravings) menu to celebrate Mexican Independence Day on Monday, Sept 16th. On the menu are:
Guacamole (Ripe avocado, tomato, chipotle, scallions and cilantro studded with nopales served with house-made tortilla chips)
Yucatecan Ceviche (Lightly poached and citrus marinated Mexican shrimp and baby octopus, mango, cucumber and red onion)
Posole (Hearty stew of pork shoulder and hominy with jalapenos)
Jicama Salad (Lime, guajillo chile and verdolagas)
Quesadillas (Flour tortillas filled with queso Oaxaca and baby spinach served with three sauces – salsa macha, salsa verde and salsa de aguacate)
They will also have drink specials like $5 Bohemias, Micheladas and classic margaritas or a Tamarindo for $10 or Jamaica for $9. Miranda Restaurant is located at 80 Berry Street in Brooklyn.
