Brooklyn Height’s Jack the Horse Tavern will be hosting a special four-course tasting dinner Wednesday, May 15th from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, featuring local brews from SingleCut Brewery of Astoria, Queens.
Each course is paired with a SingleCut Brewery craft beer. Here’s the menu:
- Pan Seared Mahi-Mahi with Garlic Scapes and Smoked Beets
Keith English Pale Ale - Soft Boiled Duck Egg with Grilled Asparagus, Ramps and Beer Beurre Blanc
Billy 18-Watt IPA - Ale Braised Short Rib Steak with Roasted Shallot Butter, Wild Mushrooms and Poached Yukon Gold Potatoes
Dean PNW Mahogany Ale - Salted Chocolate Lager-Caramel Tart and Whipped Maple Syrup
Rudy Rum Barrel Aged Lager
The tasting menu costs $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 718-852-5074 or emailing reservations@jackthehorse.com. Jack the Horse Tavern is located at 66 Hicks Street at the corner of Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights.
