In time for the cold/flu season, here’s a Hot Toddy recipe to celebrate National Hot Toddy Day on January 11. The drink is comprised of honey, lemon, hot water and brandy (or whiskey/rum).
- 1 1/2 oz brandy (or whiskey or rum)
- 1 oz honey
- 1/4 lemon
- 3/4 cup of hot water (or your choice of brewed tea)
- Mixing all ingredients in a coffee mug. Stir and serve. If you’d like to spruce up the drink, add three cloves and a cinnamon stick.
