Logan Square brewpub Revolution Brewing took home a Gold medal for top English-style summer ale at Saturday’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colo.
Among 38 entries, Revolution won the top prize with “Cross of Gold,” a light golden ale with a delicate hop finish.
Salt Lake City’s Uinta Brewing Co. won Silver with its “Sum’r,” while Portland’s Laurelwood Brewing Co. won Bronze with its “Mother Lode Golden Ale.”
Revolution won a total of two medals at this year’s festival. The Chicago brewery also won a Bronze medal in the category of American-Belgo style ale for its “A Little Crazy” beer.
