enLiven Yogurt Exclusively at Walmart

I recently learned about enLiven yogurt, a low-fat yogurt from Ganeden, the nation’s leading distributor of over-the-counter probiotic products, available exclusively at Walmart stores. enLiven yogurt is made with all natural ingredients, 99% fat-free and contains significant amounts of live and active cultures to support digestive health. It is available in four flavors – vanilla, blueberry, strawberry, and peach and features GanedenBC30 probiotics.

What is GanedenBC30?

GanedenBC30 is the trademarked name for the patented strain of probiotic bacteria, Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086. GanedenBC30 was chosen to be included in enLiven because each probiotic cell of GanedenBC30 forms a protective layer around itself that shields it from stomach acids. This helps allow GanedenBC30 to survive and arrive in the intestines – the intended target. Other traditional cultures, including Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, are unable to form this shield, making them more vulnerable.

I was offered coupons for free enLiven Yogurt to sample their yogurt. On my recent Walmart trip, I walked over to the refrigerator section and picked up two 4-packs of yogurt, one in blueberry and a another in strawberry.

I opened one of the strawberry yogurt cups. Each serving is about 4oz and 110 calories. The yogurt was very creamy, lightly sweet, with little tiny pieces of fruit. I’m lactose intolerant, but sometimes I can tolerate certain yogurts, so I tried some of the yogurt and shared the rest of the container (just to test my sensitivity). I normally like to buy plain (soy) yogurt because I often find flavored yogurts to be a bit excessively fruity or sugary. (I usually buy plain yogurt and add my own fresh fruit and toppings.) However, this was not the case. If you enjoy your yogurt creamy and lightly sweetened, then you’d enjoy this. Not to mention, there’s no funny aftertaste that you might find from low calorie yogurts with artificial sweeteners.

What to try it?
This week from June 2nd to 5th, there will be free samplings of enLiven yogurt at participating Walmart stores. There’s also a 35 cent coupon available online to download.

I’m glad to hear that WalMart is suppose to carry Enliven. However, I live in Ardmore, OK and their store hasn’t carried this product in months. How do I get them to order this? I couldn’t possibly be the only person that eats it, maybe so. Please advise.
