$250 is the cost for EL Ideas’ “World Most Expensive Ham Dinner,” featuring Cinco Jotas 5j Jamon, a 100% acord fed and pure bred Iberian ham, cave-aged for two years.

“Once the acorn hams have been cured in cellars,” says ham producer 5 Jotas. “They go through a rigorous selection process to ensure that only the best pieces, which reach the most exquisite organoleptic standards and which offer unrivalled quality, are finally chosen to bear the ‘5J’ label.”

The dinner takes place Sunday, May 19th at EL Ideas at 2419 West 14th street. Reservations can be made via email.
