For Chicago Chef Week 2013, Leopold in West Town will be offering a three-course menu at a cost of $44 per person. The Chef Week tasting menu runs March 17 through March 22 and choices are:
1) BRAISED RABBIT SALAD with Dante’s cheese, dried cherries & shallot confit vinaigrette ~or~ MOULES beer-steamed, with sriracha & blue cheese
2) WILD STRIPED BASS with vegetable ragout & lobster fume ~or~ MILK-BRAISED WILD BOAR with endive & herb dumplings
3) BELGIAN WAFFLE with fig compote & hazelnut crunch ~or~ OLIVE OIL BREAD PUDDING with black dog gelato & pecal streusel
On March 25, Leopold will be teaming with former Premise and Graham Elliot chef Brian Runge for “The Old Farm at Leopold” pop-up dinner. Dishes will be paired with Koval Distillery drinks. Only 30 seats available. To make a reservation, call 312-348-1028.
