The Chicago Chinese Cultural Institute is holding a Chinese New Year dumpling-making dinner this Sunday, Feb. 3 at Hing Kee Restaurant on 2140 South Archer Avenue. Tickets are $35 per adult and $30 per child before Feb. 2. Otherwise the price is $50 at the door.
On the agenda from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. are presentations on how the Chinese celebrate the Lunar New Year, Chinese New Year traditions and symbolisms and of course, a dumpling-making session. Meal, dumplings and dessert are included in admission.
