Blackbird will be offering this Chicago Chef Week 2013 lunch special Monday through Friday, March 18-22. The three-course lunch is $22 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
1) MIXED GREENS SALAD with crispy potato, basil dijon vinaigrette
or SMOKED ARCTIC CHAR with ‘nduja, cauliflower, pear, rosemary
or CAULIFLOWER SOUP with candied kumquats, cauliflower couscous, currant purée
2) CONFIT DUCK SOUP with broccoli, potato granola, sesame, raisin cream
or WOOD-GRILLED STURGEON with shiitakes, onion noodles, persimmons, buttermilk
3) FROZEN PARSNIP CUSTARD withpeanut bavarois, milk meringue, finger lime, ginger
or WINTER COUPE with vanilla ice cream, apricots, pistachio, coriander
Blackbird’s lunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Blackbird is located at 619 West Randolph.
