Each hot dog maker/vendor will present a classic hot dog and a specialty dog. All hot dogs come in sample sizes. This year’s participating vendors are Boricua Dog, Chicago Classic, Chubby Weiners, Cookers Red Hots, Fatso’s Last Stand/Frank Meat Patty, Flashy HotDogs, Frannie’s Beef and Catering, Select Cut Steakhouse and more.
Now in its third year, the Chicago Hot Dog Fest is presented by and takes place at The Chicago History Museum. It goes down Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9. Hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Admission for free, but attendees will have to exchange money for “dog dollars” in order to purchase drinks and hot dog samples.
