Jet’s Pizza expands in Chicago with three new locations 0

Jet’s Pizza has taken off in Chicago! The first location, at 2811 N. Ashland Ave, has done exceptionally well and now there are three new locations opening in Chicago.

Jet’s, the Michigan-based pizza chain, is known for its signature Detroit-style square pizza with a crunchy crust. You can customize the crust from a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed or Jet’s Turbo Crust. Hand-tossed round and New York-style thin crust pizzas are also available too.

Chicago Cultural Alliance Presents World Dumpling Fest – Oct 7th 0

Chicago Cultural Alliance will be hosting the World Dumpling Fest on October 7th, from 11am to 6pm, at Millennium Park. There’s going to be cultural performances, artist booths, and of course, dumplings. The event will feature dumplings from Chicago area restaurants, serving up an international variety of foods wrapped in dough.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Tryzub Restaurant serving their Varenyky pierogi.
  • Ethiopian Diamond serving their Sambusas
  • Chow Bros. serving their gourmet pierogis
  • Himalayan Restaurant serving varies kinds of Momo.
  • Himmel’s serving the German dumpling, Spätzle.
  • Kamehachi serving a variety of shumai.
  • Sweet Station serving a variety of traditional Chinese dumplings.
  • Perfect Pasta serving different variations of Ravioli.
