March is Peanut Butter Month! You might have noticed all the peanut butter talk across town. Restaurants are bringing back some classic peanut butter items and featuring innovative peanut butter-inspired dishes on their menus. Just for the month of March, Moran’s Chelsea is featuring two distinct peanut butter-inspired dishes – Peanut Butter & Fig Ravioli and PB&J Flautas with Fried Ie Cream.
The savory and sweet, Peanut Butter & Fig Ravioli features two ravioli filled with a crunchy peanut butter and fig mixture. It’s served with a swirl of raspberry sauce, vanilla bean creme anglaise, and chocolate sauce, accompanied with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and sprinkled with fresh cinnamon.
The PPB&J Flauta puts a twist on the PB&J sandwiches by filling a warm tortilla with chunky peanut butter, raspberry preserves, and a whole banana. The tortilla is rolled up, fried, and served with a scoop of fried ice cream.
