OCT. 26

McKinley Park Halloween Run (and Costume Contest)
Type: Run
Cost: $10
Run to raise money to improve McKinley Park.

Redmond’s “Crawl with the Creeps” Halloween Pub Crawl
Type: Bar Crawl
Cost: $25 meal package
A trolley takes you between Redmond’s, McGee’s, Duffy’s and Durkin’s. Admission includes domestic drafts and buffet at each bar.

Halloween Trolley Crawl
(Groupon)
Type: Bar Crawl
Cost: $25, $35, $45
Over 20 buses and trolleys will shuttle you to access over 20 bars through Lincoln Park, Old Town and River North. Admission includes three drink tickets.

Zombies vs. Vampires Pub Crawl
(Groupon)
Type: Bar Crawl
Cost: $22.09
Pick your side! Dress as either a zombie or a vampire and drink your way across Wicker Park.

Crawl-O-Ween Bar Crawl
Type: Bar Crawl
Cost: $10
Start your crawl at Clarke’s Bar and Grille in Lincoln Park.

OCT. 31

MB Financial Park at Rosemont’s “Zombie Bar Crawl”
Cost: $5 admission with proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Northalsted Halloween Parade
Type: Parade
The general public is encouraged to get dressed up and march in the parade on Halsted Street from Belmont to Addison. The theme this year is “Twisted Circus.”

Dawn of the Zombie Apocalypse
Type: Dance Party
Similar to a flash mob, the free event gathers people dressed as zombies and have them dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

    MUNICIPAL PUMPKIN CARVING AND SCARY MOVIE NIGHT
    Municipal Bar + Dining Company invites Chicagoans to celebrate Halloween with a pumpkin carving party on Wednesday, October 23 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For $10 per person, guests will receive a pumpkin and an Oktoberfest beer. A wine option is available for $12. While carving pumpkins, guests will enjoy a lineup of spooky movies including Beetlejuice and Nightmare on Elm Street on over 35 HD flat screen televisions with the sound on.

    Oktoberfest beer selections include Central Waters Brewers Reserve Oktoberfest, Boulevard Bob’s ’47 Oktoberfest, and Southern Tier Pumking. Guests can also opt for Municipal’s Wednesday special, which features half-price bottles of wine and half-price flatbreads.
