Lincoln Square German-American Fest 2013

This weekend, September 6-8, is Lincoln Square’s annual German-American Festival located at Lincoln/Western/Leland. This, relatively rowdy, three-day street festival features the Von Steuben German Day parade, German music, food and plenty of beer.

  • The festivities begin Friday, September 6 at 6 p.m. with the opening ceremonies.
  • The Von Steuben German Day Parade starts 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7 at 4000 North Lincoln Avenue.

To get there via public transportation, take the Western #49 bus or Brown Line to Western Station.

Hours: Friday: 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. | Saturday: 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. | Sunday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
