The fourth annual Chicago Bacon Takedown is coming to Lincoln Hall on Saturday, September 14 and the food competition is taking along 300 pounds of bacon for consumption. Organizer Matt Timms is pitting 20 local cooks to each make a plate around bacon. Each chef gets 15 pounds of Hormel Black Label Bacon. Tickets are $15.
This will be the last Chicago Takedown event until the “Chicago Food Film Fest Takedown” on November 21 to 23.
