There’s still a month left to check out The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s “Food: The Nature of Eating” exhibit. The family-friendly interactive exhibit takes visitors through the history of food culture, farming and food transportation in Chicago.
The exhibit includes a simulated native Iillinois prairie, hands-on opportunity with a 19th century John Deere hand plow replica, a presentation of alternative farming methods and more. Be sure to check out the skyline made of cereal boxes!
The exhibit began on March 23 and runs until September 8.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for students and seniors and $6 for children under 13.
