Keizo Shimamoto’s “Shoyu Ramen Burger”

Try one of Ramen chef Keizo Shimamoto’s “Shoyu Ramen Burger” at this Saturday’s Smorgasburg at East River State Park in Brooklyn. Available at Sun Noodle’s table, only 100 will be made.

Shimamoto says the Ramen Burger is made of “a patty glazed with a secret shoyu sauce and sandwiched between scallions, arugula, and two craftily formed buns made from Sun Noodle‘s freshly cut ramen noodles.”

Shimamoto is ramen fanatic whose passion for ramen was documented in Ramen Dreams, winner for best short film at last year’s New York City Food Film Festival.
