Enjoy pierogie, potato pancakes and kielbasas at this weekend’s Chicago’s Polish Fest 2013 on May 4 and 5 at the Copernicus Center in Jefferson Park. In addition to all the Polish food, the festival will feature your usual array of local bands as well as traditional folk dance and music.
Admission is $5, and free for children 12 and under. Polish Fest, which commemorates Polish Constitution Day, is a family-friendly event offering a designated kids stage with clown shows, face painting, magic shows, dancing and more.
The Copernicus Center is located at 5216 West Lawrence Avenue. Hours are 12PM-9:30PM on Saturday and 12PM-9PM Sunday. For more information on Polish Fest, click here.
