May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Month and I wanted to pass along the efforts of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), America’s largest grassroots mental health organization.

Mental health affects everyone and everything we do, but because of its stigma, is also a topic many don’t feel comfortable discussing. NAMI provides programs and a supportive network for individuals living with mental illness as well as a place to turn for families and friends with someone affected by mental illness.

Healthy eating is also very important for your mental health and what you eat can affect your mood and energy level. “Food doesn’t just feed our bodies, it also nourishes our minds.”

You donation will support NAMI’s effort in improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
